Volunteer with us!
The PTA relies on support from our parents and there are many opportunities to get involved. We are looking for the following help for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Committee Leads:
Membership
Coordinate marketing projects for membership drive, update membership forms, maintain membership databases, assist with filing membership paperwork to Texas PTA/National PTA, Track and create Marquee and/or Facebook birthday “posts”.
Sponsorships
Update sponsorship forms annually as needed, scout out new sponsorship opportunities in the community, work as the point of contact for sponsors and assist with contracts and renewals, coordinate sponsor banners, maintain sponsor information on PTA Website and social media.
Communications
Help collect info for the Newsletters and PTA messages to families. Maintain PTA Website and Social Media Accounts.
Hospitality
Plan and coordinate appreciation events at the school for Kocurek staff.
Yearbook
Design the annual school yearbook for printing and distribution to students in May.
Kocurek Alumni Scholarship
Update the scholarship forms, advertise scholarship application deadline to students/parents, track applications and coordinate voting at April PTA Meeting, coordinate awarding the scholarship in May, and track any Koala Circle sponsorships received (funds go towards the scholarship).
Spirit Nights
Schedule monthly spirit nights with local restaurants and promote within the Kocurek community.
Beautification
Organize School cleanups and beautification projects with the Kocurek Community.
Koala Spirit Store
Coordinate items for sale at Kocurek Spirit stores and online, assist with design and ordering of spirit wear.
We are also always looking for help with:
Making copies and distributing PTA flyers, newsletters etc.
Setting up, tearing down and/or volunteering during special events at the school.
